We are a small team of client-focused structural engineers experienced in designing buildings of all scales, utilizing all major structural systems and construction materials.

We take pride in providing creative and cost-effective structural solutions to complex design programs. Our principals are actively involved in the day to day engineering and overall management of each project.

Our staff of engineers is registered in over 20 states and maintains records with the National Council of Engineering Examiners, allowing for expedited licensure in additional states.

We utilize the latest engineering technology, including Revit Structure and Finite Element Analysis, and sponsor continuing education to keep our staff up to date with the latest innovations in engineering and construction technology.

The principals of HKSE are experienced in the structural engineering of all major construction types, including reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry, light gauge steel and wood framing. Our staff is experienced in designing buildings of various heights and we frequently provide structural engineering for projects in hurricane and seismic prone regions.
